Provisions to the usage of a VEHICLE

Collecting a vehicle

When collecting and by return a vehicle it shall be in good working condition, with clean exterior and inside saloon, fully equipped with accessories, with a full fuel tank and empty toilet tank which is testified in the hand-over act.
The place of collecting and return of a vehicle is Jūrmala, Sloka from 9.00 - 20.00 o'clock. Other options for collecting or return a vehicle shall be agreed between the Owner and the Renter separately.

Renter/Driver

When collecting a vehicle the Renter shall present the following documents: a passport/identification card and driver's license.
The Renter is fully responsible for all traffic or other offences and parking fines, arising during the rental period of a vehicle.
In case of an accident if the vehicle had been driven by unauthorized driver, all insurance policies become invalid and the Renter bears full responsibility for a vehicle.

Usage provisions

The Renter must always be sure that the correct fuel is used, to check motor oil level as well as the level of other technical fluids each time when refilling the fuel.
The Renter shall immediately inform the Owner about any mechanical damages to a vehicle and shall take immediate measures to remedy the failure by delivering a vehicle to the nearest respective authorized dealer with presenting the warranty coupon to him. If repair of damages has been paid off in cash, the Renter firstly shall inform the Owner by phone No. + 371 26644400, + 371 26181010 or by other means of communication and such payment shall be approved by the Owner. The Renter shall present all bills and checks testifying the payments.
The Renter is responsible for any mechanical damages, occurred in result of inappropriate usage of a vehicle or if used in a negligent manner.
Malfunction of a radio equipment, refrigerator, electrical appliances and alternator has no been considered as mechanical failure and repair of such equipment will not be compensated.

In the living area of a rented vehicle is forbidden:

To smoke - the fine is Ls 100.00
To carry animals- the fine is Ls 100.00

Extra charges:
Saloon/interior cleaning: Ls 30.00
Toilet tank cleaning: Ls 15.00
Car wash: Ls 25.00
The lost or damage of GPS unit: Ls 150.00
Refilling the fuel up to top level: Ls 1.50 per liter.
The lost of TV remote control panel: Ls 25
